The famous Globe trotter Chef Anthony Bourdain is going to open an international food emporium in New York. This style food court will be home to up to 50 food stalls divided into three parts.
The Asian food hall will feature Singaporean and Malay dishes such as nasi lemak and laksa as it is made in Kuching. In keeping with the street food idea, dishes will be priced at US$5 to US$25 (RM16.50 to RM82).
Anthony has always been fascinated by Malaysia, where Chinese influence has mixed with Malay, Indian, Nyonya and indigenous Borneo culture.
