Our stay didn’t start very well with myself needing to be taken to the hospital and Jada arriving with a sore foot. Saloma Gaguk and her family treated us like there extended family and made us feel at home, whilst looking after our needs, even driving me to the hospital! Out of our entire time in Borneo this was definitely the highlight of the trip. Thanks Saloma Gaguk, your family and everyone in the village for making us feel so welcome and looking after us… I feel so grateful & fortunate to of been able to stay with you in your beautiful home in the jungle and experience the traditional way of life for the Bidayuh people.
